Your contribution can help sponsor a child’s educationor provide vocational training to struggling women in rural areas. Here are a few of the key areas your contribution will go to:

Education - A firm believer in education being the tool of empowerment, Deepalaya runs formal schools, as well as learning centers throughout Delhi-NCR and UP. While the schools teach according to formal curriculum, the learning centers provide kids with remedial education.Deepalaya has an impressive statistic of having taught more than 3 lakh children till date.

Vocational Training - These programs focus on teaching and honing soft skills that can help individuals bag a job. These vocational courses like tailoring, beauty and makeup sessions also help women become economically independent.

Women Empowerment - Deepalaya strives to maintain a 50:50 ratio of boys and girls in schools they run. The NGO also runs microfinance and self-help group (SHG) projects across Haryana and Delhi. Deepalaya has helped women build more than 1400 SHGs, in turn, helpingopen 8,000 micro-enterprises.

Healthcare - The community health camps revolve around spreading awareness about primary health care and how general diseases can be avoided. Deepalaya has helped the underprivileged in areas like family planning, immunization, awareness, and prevention of HIV-AIDS etc.Together with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deepalaya runs multiple eye-care centers in and around Delhi and Haryana. So far over 7 lakh, people from various underprivileged communities have benefitted from the programs run by this NGO.
