TATA IPL 2025 Season Suspended

The BCCI has decided to suspend the TATA IPL 2025 season for a week amid the ongoing conflicts between India and its immediate western neighbour. This decision was taken to safeguard players, the broadcasting team, and crew members. In the IPL 2025 season, 57 matches have been completed, and the 58th match was cancelled midway due to security reasons. There were 12 more group matches and playoffs left in this season when the decision was taken to suspend it.

Till suspension, GT, RCB, PBKS, and MI were the top four performing teams on the point table. All international players and crew members will return to their respective countries, and the BCCI will organize their return trips. Every franchise has accepted the decision wholeheartedly, as national security is paramount. The league will resume from 17 May, and the Finals will be played on 3 June 2025.
